Exceptional and complete copy of the historic album Prints from the Mourlot Press, printed in Paris on 27 October 1964 by Atelier Mourlot, the most renowned lithographic studio of the 20th century. Typography by Imprimerie Nationale under the direction of André Brignole.
This deluxe publication was issued in a total of 2.200 copies: - 2,000 copies on Vélin d'Arches paper - 200 copies on Vélin de Rives, reserved for the artists. staff. and friends of Mourlot.
The volume was published to accompany the travelling exhibition organized by the French Embassy and the Smithsonian Institution in the United States, celebrating three decades of artistic collaboration between Mourlot and the greatest modern painters.
Contains 22 original lithographs, all printec at Mourlot Frères, representing the work of the maior artists who worked with the atelier, including:
