Auguste BROUET - (Assorted occupations: a collection of ten original etchings)

An outstanding collection of ten original etchings by Brouet. All signed and justified (out of 100). Excellent impressions printed on extremely fine laid paper, with full margins. These etchings all depict typical trades: herboriste, fishmonger, scissors-makers, egg-seller, cauldron-makers, etc. From an American print collection left untouched from 1940 to 2010, so all of the etchings are in absolutely perfect condition. Individually matted. A unique view of Paris (and of French culture) as it was a century ago.
