Print for a planned portfolio "November-Gruppe 1919" comprising several lithographs, woodcuts and etchings by artists like Hans Brass, Willy Zierath, Georg Tappert, Otto Nagel, Moriz Melzer Cesar Klein, Paul Paeschke, Rudolf Grossmann, Hans Meid, Wilhelm Schmid and Otto Lange who were at the time all members of the Novembergruppe. The German artist group "Novembergruppe" was founded in 1918 as a reaction to the bloody suppression of the socialist revolution in Berlin. Its members represented virtually all avantgarde movements of the time like Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Constructivism or the DADA movement.
