Shoes is an example from Warhols screenprints depicting women’s shoes. The works are an homage to his early career in commercial advertising. The work is completely covered in diamond dust, which Warhol was given as a gift from a friend at the Factory. This print is one of the largest Warhol prints available, measuring approximately 40 x 60 inches.
