The below soup can prints are from Warhol’s famous portfolio titled Campbell’s Soup I (1968) and Campbell’s Soup II (1969). It features twenty different images of soup cans. Warhol became famous for depicting everyday objects in his art, due in large part to his 1962 show at the famed Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles, where he introduced the first Campbell’s Soup paintings. This was the catalyst for launching him into the spotlight.
