Pablo Picasso, Tete de Chevre (Goat’s head in profile) is a ceramic plate sculpture made in 1952. Referred to as a “round/square dish” in the Alain Ramie Catalogue (Ceramic Works 1947-1971), this work features white earthenware clay, decoration in engobes under partial brushed glaze in black, green, yellow, russet, beige patina. It is numbered from the edition of 100, stamped ‘Madoura’ and ‘Edition Picasso’ on the verso. Ramie 153.
