This rare plate was offered to the subscribers of the French Art issue "La Plume" (n° 261) in its Deluxe edition in 1900.
Signed on the plate lower left margin, with Eugène Grasset's monogram.

+ Size of the sheet: 25 x 18 cm / 9,8 x 7 in.
+ Size of the image: 18 x 13 cm / 7 x 5,1 in.
Condition: In overall good condition, with some soft handling creases, some minor stains, and some slight discoloration at the edges. One small stain on the top left corner. Image very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors.
"La Plume" was an artistic and literary issue, created by Léon Maillard and Léon Deschamps in 1889 and aimed at young artists and writers. Published from April 1889 to January 1914, this magazine aimed to promote any artistic talents, as highlighted by its motto, "Pour l'Art !" ("For the Art!").
Numerous artists illustrated the issue, such as Alphonse Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, or else Eugène Grasset.

Signée dans la planche en bas à gauche, avec le monogramme d'Eugène Grasset.

Condition : En bon état général, avec de légers plis de manipulation, des taches mineures, et une légère décoloration sur les bords. Une petite tache dans le coin supérieur gauche. Image très propre autrement, avec des couleurs vives.
"La Plume" était une revue artistique et littéraire, créée par Léon Maillard et Léon Deschamps en 1889, et destinée aux jeunes artistes et écrivains. Publié d'avril 1889 à janvier 1914, ce magazine avait pour but de promouvoir tous les talents artistiques, comme le souligne sa devise, "Pour l'Art !".
De nombreux artistes ont illustré la revue, comme Alphonse Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, ou encore Eugène Grasset.
