Edition of 290 copies on Arches paper, NUMBERED AND SIGNED IN PENCIL by René Char and Max Ernst in the colophon (this copy is no. 115).
The work is in perfect, complete condition, correctly numbered and signed by both the poet and the artist on a loose leaf at the end. The clamshell box is in fine condition, showing only slight, typical rubbing.
The poems by René Char are taken from *Dehors la nuit est gouvernée* (1938).
