Note: Dali made a portfolio of 12 photolithographs with etchings, in editions of 50, entitled “Les Diners de Gala” in which a series of remarkable prints displayed colourful surrealistic dishes served in the legendary dinner parties of Salvador and Gala Dalí. Part of each piece was an original etching showing a giant spoon lodged on two supports with a bishop walking bow accompanies by a train bearer.. With the portfolio’s Dali included a series of copper etching plates numbered from an edition of 50 and this item comes from this group. It was included inside the original red original red original portfolio.
