First edition of the text by Georges Clemenceau about the condition of Jews in Poland. Illustrated with 10 lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec printed in black on Arches wove paper, with an additional suite printed in various tones on Chinese paper. The wraps, furthermore, are an original color lithograph: the front cover shows Moses receiving the Ten Commandments; the back cover shows the Golden Calf deposed from its pedestal (and is colored with gold ink).
From a total edition of 380 numbered copies, this is one of 355 on fine Arches wove paper.
