Dimensions of work: 38 x 28 cm.

This portfolio is based on Fernand Crommelynck’s play Le Cocu magnifique. In 1966, Pablo Picasso made a series of etchings with aquatint inspired by the play. They were printed in Paris by the playwright’s sons, Aldo and Piero, at their workshop, Atelier Crommelynck. It was an important part of Picasso’s long collaboration with the Crommelynck brothers.
