Lithographie originale justifiée au crayon 14/180 et signée du tampon de la signature.

Une des plus belles et certainement la plus emblématique du portfolio de Fernand Léger : MA VILLE.
L'artiste, décédé avant la parution de l'album, n'a pu signer les épreuves. Son épouse, Nadia Léger a suivi l'achèvement des tirages et signé les "bons à tirer".

English : This lithograph by Fernand Leger is the plate 4 from the portfolio "La Ville" (The City) which consists of 29 lithographs featuring scenes of people, life and emotions of Paris. The artist started the project in 1954 but unfortunately passed away in the summer of 1955. His wife, Nadia Leger, along with Fernand Mourlot and the publisher Teriade completed the project and it was printed and edited in 1959, four years after the artist's death.
The edition is composed of 180 numbered proofs with the signature stamp on the below right of each plate.
This one is numbered 14/180 in pencil and signed with the official stamp.
