INFORMATION : Bernard Buffet a effectué plusieurs reprises au pastel noir, notamment sur la route qui descend sur la gauche de la gravure, renforçant ainsi certains traits. Ces modifications figurent d'ailleurs sur l'édition numérotée de cette gravure. On peut donc supposer que les Epreuves d'artistes correspondent au premier état de la gravure.
