Pablo PICASSO - Congres Pour La Paix

The World Peace Council is an international organization that advocates universal disarmament, sovereignty and independence and peaceful co-existence, and campaigns against imperialism, weapons of mass destruction and all forms of discrimination. It was founded in 1950 and has attracted the supported of influential politicians, artists and celebrities worldwide. In support of the early life of the organization, in 1962 Picasso created this original lithograph. Over time it has become enormously collectible and was featured in 2013 by the Tate/London in a 2013 exhibition of Picasso’s artwork.
